Hello old and new followers of falconersgosailing!
We will be starting a new year and a new season on a new boat in a new place on December 3rd. The blog has been dormant for the past two years but I hope to get back to blogging again this season.
Our plan is to arrive in Hallandale Beach, Florida to climb aboard our ‘new to us’ Lagoon 440 Catamaran where we will clean and prepare the boat for cruising to and around the Bahamas. We hope to be in Guatemala at the end of the season to leave our boat at a marina in the Rio Dulce for the summer. We'll see how that goes...
First we will be leaving the cold and snow of Idaho on November 28th and heading to beautiful sunny and warm Puerto Vallarta to gather our things that are in storage from our last sailboat, Solastra, and packaging them up to fly with us to Florida on the 3rd of December.
This will be an entirely new experience for us, so we are feeling both excited and out of our comfort zone for the journey ahead.
